About Us

Hi. My name is Jamie. I married into the farm life and love it. I've learned to drive a combine (for grain harvest) and grow large scale gardens - good thing I enjoy working in the dirt!

As long as I can remember, I've been involved in growing an annual vegetable garden. Now, we have combined family efforts and grow a few large scale vegetable gardens (about 25 acres).

Since we grow a garden, we also have been learning how to preserve the produce we grow, so canning is a very real art to me. One that I want to carry on - I love seeing beautiful, freshly canned food on my shelf and knowing that I did that! Plus, the fruit tastes so much better!

Because of my love of canning and getting good produce, we sort of "fell into" the farm stand business and have been serving our neighbors and anyone interested since 2008. We continue to grow and search for good locally grown produce. We prefer Idaho-grown Produce.

p.s. I am frequently asked what CWT stands for (when we were previously named cwtProduce)... Well, in the potato world, it stand for "hundred weight" and it is usually lower case "cwt," since part of our farm consists of potatoes, we thought we'd call our farm "hundred weight farms" then we abbreviated it to cwt farms and my produce stand used to be cwt produce. That got confusing, so we changed to Food Dudes! Thanks for stopping by!
